When you turn on the tv it has a dark section on the right of the screen as shown in the photo.
You can get rid of this by going to the menu and performing a first time install. This will resolve the issue until the tv is turned off again which means you have to reinstall each time you turn it on. This can be a bit of a pain which is why I have noe replaced it but once the reinstall is done it works fine so it might still be of use to someone.
