Most people will not know what these are. I had to do some work to remind myself. Apparently they are used on cables often with sound equipment, to help eliminate interference and background noise.
If you are “techie” and know what they are, you may have a use for them, but if you don’t , then don’t bother. It’s probably too technical to be worth the effort. I hope they can find a place where they can be useful, otherwise they will soon find their way to the tip.
