Height is adjustable. There are some marks on the surface, and the inner edge is worn. Tape was once used to prevent splinters on the inner edge.

It is not as heavy as it looks, but I recommend two people lift it due to its size. It is located on the second floor, so it will have to be carried down a flight of stairs.
