I believe an impedance of 6 Ohms is the current standard for surround sound systems, but please, ⚠️ - only use this in a surround sound system that is expecting a subwoofer of 6 Ohms, otherwise it can permanently damage the system. This information can be typically found on the back of the amplifier or the instructions manual.
