Cambridge Audio A1 budget Hifi amplifier
Rescued from a skip, one channel works ok, the other is quiet and noisy.
It is version 3.0 and my hunch is an hour with a screwdriver and a soldering iron to replace the main amplifier chip (probably LM4766, about 10 pounds) would give a working amplifier, but I haven't got the kit to fully confirm this, or a real use for it if I fixed it and its been sitting around too long!
