Stair gate (Splott CF24)

As shown. There's an extender attached on one side that can be removed if your space is narrower than mine.

I don't have the fittings that screw it to the wall (though I'll look for them before giving it away) and was using pressure to keep it in place. It was fairly sturdy like that though I wouldn't trust a toddler not to be able to pull it down. The fittings may be available to buy online but I haven't checked.
