*Faulty* this has served us well for many years but this year’s solid 5 foot tree kept tipping over in it. The spike that goes into the base of the tree has flattened so presumably wasn’t holding tree properly.
May still work for a small tree or be fixable by a competent person, the metal may not be what it was though. Giving it a chance to be saved from the tip anyway as it’s been a really good stand.
