DIY special: hands-free receptacle (South Hill)

A fix it special: a garbage receptacle that I really loved, but the lid no longer raises on its own. It has a motion sensor on the top that still works, and I can hear the mechanism working to lift the lid, but it never happens. Once I give it a boost, it’s able to do the rest, but it defeats the purpose of the “hands-free” feature. Another feature that I really liked, when changing the bag there is a fan that pulls the liner to the edges. Pretty cool.
If you can get the lid to lift on its own, I would love for this to find a new home!
I’ve wiped it down with antibacterial wipes, but was used with dry refuse.
