Metal, I think the coating is enamel as it's not a none stick type surface but is very hard wearing. I reckon it's 20+ years old as I've had it since 2012 and it was handed down then.
Would fit a small turkey - I last cooked a whole duck in it a couple of weeks ago.
We only use it a handful of times a year so it's looking for a new home.
