donations for school playground (Attercliffe - S9)

Hello 👋

We’re a local primary school developing our playground through the OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) programme, which encourages creative, active, child-led play.

We’re looking for safe, unwanted items that children can use imaginatively during playtimes. If you’re having a clear-out, we’d be incredibly grateful for any of the following:

We are especially looking for:

Tyres (car, small van, wheelbarrow)

Wooden pallets (good condition, no rot)

Crates (plastic or wooden)

Planks of wood / timber offcuts

Old saucepans, pots, pans, baking trays

Metal or plastic buckets

Guttering / pipes / tubes

Old suitcases, briefcases, handbags

Fabric, scarves, netting, tarpaulins

Old keyboards, phones, cameras (non-working is fine)

Traffic cones, signs, reels

Garden tools (safe, child-appropriate)

Rope, pulleys, chains (lightweight)

Please note:
✔ All items must be clean and safe
✖ No sharp edges, broken glass, chemicals, or electrical items that plug in

We can collect locally or arrange drop-off at school.
