Old Wooden Step Ladders (Chilcompton)
Click on the pictures to see the full size, please. A pair of very old wooden steps, they have done me very good service for probably about 45 years, but be aware that they are painted red, they have woodworm (which has been treated), and the screws are a bit "loose". The three wooden steps are actually quite "sound". These will work as stepladders, but for 100% safety, they may be better suited for someone wanting to showcase them or use them artistically. Approximate dimensions are in the 4th photo. I decided this Christmas, whilst standing on them putting the outside lights up, it's time to get some aluminium step ladders and give these away. Collect from Chilcompton Village, near Midsomer Norton, about 10 miles south of Bath.
