Computer/Laptop - Any kind that works (Carnoustie DD7)

I know it’s a long shot but my laptop screen has smashed and can’t afford to get it fixed. I was wondering whether anyone had a spare old computer/laptop that they don’t use anymore that they would be happy to give away. Preferably not as old as the one in the picture (🙊) but I would be grateful for anything! As long is can still work fully and keep up with all the ‘system updates’ that computers need these days.
