Previously ran OpenWRT and was my main house router for several years. The original internal fan failed a long time ago and was replaced with a PC fan mounted externally (functional but very much a bodge).
Got replaced by a newer router but was working fine like this for years.
It has struggled with temperatures, I suspect the thermal paste would need replacing and/or better cooling. Because of this I’m offering it strictly for repair, spares, or learning, not as a ready-to-use router.
Might suit someone who enjoys hardware tinkering or wants a device to experiment with OpenWRT / ddWRT. Would make a good base AP for a home lab.
