Vintage 2 piece fibreboard suitcase. webbing straps (Norbiton KT2)

This is certainly 60 years old as it passed down from my grandparents.
Since they did not travel much in their later years the age must be 1950s or even 1940s - I think the latter to be the case based on what I can find online.
It is in 2 parts - a top and a base. These are closed via webbing straps with brass buckles
Solid fibre corners on box edges plus metail corner pieces on top section where it meets the lower section (and on the lower) - these might need a little adjustment as the 2 pieces can be a bit fiddly to join/separate - only mild pliers or grips work I suspect

Dimensions - W53cm (20.75in) H20cm (8in) D 38cm (15in)

It has lasted too well to be cardboard and it raps when you tap it, so I think it is some sort of fibreboard
Not sure if there is a market to restore, but it could be a good talking point or even an unusual coffee table!
Or even just for loft storage

(My wife is already having second thoughts)

I don't really want to trash it but we are downsizing so hoping someone may give it a good home.
