Not simple to use... because Sony doesn't have Bookstore anymore.. Instead Kobo Bookstore is supposed to be available, but I couldn't get it working on this.
The way it works now, is that you connect this reader to your PC or Mac, two drives open up, one of them to store books.
You either download legally free books from places like https://annas-archive.pm, or you might be able to download your purchased books in .epub format (haven't tried) and by connecting this reader to your PC or Mac you copy the books overt to this device.
To try this I have downloaded the Jungle Book and Alice in Wonderland form annas-archive, so it does work.
