Beige /:light brown carpet (Frimley)

I'm having my lounge and dining room carpet replaced tomorrow and wondered if anyone could use the old carpet and save it from landfill? What about in a shed or in a room where animals live / frequent?

As you can see from the pics it's pretty stained and marked. I can't tell you how old it is but I've lived in this house for 9.5 years and it was already old! It's just one of those things... I couldn't afford new carpet at the time and then, once the house is full of furniture it's a real upheaval to empty rooms!

I presume a professional clean might remove most or all of the stains but can't guarantee it.

It's over 3m wide and approximately 12m long. There may be 2 halves if it needs to be cut when they are taking it up.
