Sewing machine for kids (Baseline and Clyde)

This was rescued from the trash and I tried to get it going but unsuccessfully. I’m giving it one more chance if someone knows how to fix something like this. NB it is not the batteries. There must be a computer chip in it or maybe a circuitry issue. There are screws that you can open it with.
It is 6”x6”x4.5”.
