This was cheap, I bought it about 8 years ago when I left a decent one behind.
I bought it for checking food temperatures but it is so slow to read that it's basically useless for that.
I must have removed the battery years ago although there is evidence that it had leaked before I did so.
The product info sheet says it requires 1.5V(AG13) x 1Key as a power supply.
It's a very small and round battery, that I know. Reads in centigrade or fahrenheit.
