Back is removable for transportation.
NOTE: chair originated in USA, therefore does not have UK 1988 fire safety labels BUT it has the USA equivalent: Californian Technical Bulletin 117 which complies with ‘smoulder test’ and material and that item does not catch fire after 45 mins. This law has been adopted throughout the USA (Federal Law). Photo shot of label does not seem to have come out well but all info on line. ( search Californian TB 117).
