Technics Tape player/recorder for spares and repairs (Aigburth L17)

Technics Tape player/recorder M255X for spares and repairs. The wheels are not turning because the idler wheels are not providing enough torque. I checked the belts, and cleaned the wheels.

I also suspect that the circuit board for the switches that control the tape might be not working properly.

I hope somebody with more technical skills or equipment might be able to repair it or use it for spares.
