Knitting wool (Sunbury)

I am trying to find some knitting wool or odds and ends of wool that are no longer wanted to crochet some small blankets to keep the dogs and cats in a Romanian rescue warm in the colder months. I would really appreciate if anybody has some that they could let me have please.
