This unit will allow you to remotely monitor and control your garage door. You can open it, close, or just see when it was last open/closed. Have to sign up for a MyQ account for this to work from your phone. This unit does not replace or change how you currently open/close your garage door. It mainly acts like another remote on your opener which makes it easy to add to your system.
