I have a hardwood cheese board to give away. The top has a slight recess, in which there is a piece of slate that the cheese is supposed to sit on. The wooden base is made in two parts, joined together by a bolt. When you pivot them apart, a set of four cheese knives/scoops/forks is revealed. It was made in China. I have never used this item.
