I am part of a wonderful group of volunteers based in Maidenhead who hold free seed and plant swaps in early spring / early summer.

Our seed swap, where we gather all our excess seeds and invite the community to come and take what they need, sow and grow is taking place next month.

Please, if you have any in date or expired seeds, or have some saved seeds from last season, can you consider donating these to our growers’ group?

I can collect from within 1 mile of Maidenhead Bridge but it would be amazing if you could drop off your seeds to the Maidenhead ECO Hub, where the event will take place.

Any surplus seedlings from this swap go back to the community as part of our early summer plant swap.
