JVC, model LT-40CF890, 40" Smart TV (EH6)

This was purchased retail from Currys, and acquired from the original
purchaser. I cannot boot the above TV following a hard and soft boot.
Following the replacement of the power board, and the main board, with no
change there is a "splash screen" as indicated from the attached picture,
but no main menu. During brief glimpses between flashes, menu options
briefly appear, so this suggests the (original) motherboard is fine, it's
obviously powering up (hence splash screen).

With a network cable plugged in, advertising audio is audible with no
corresponding picture. Sound does respond to volume up and down via the
remote control.

Could represent a repair prospect, my instinct is this is a software issue.
