Russell Hobbs Kettle broken lidflip (BH9, Muscliff, Bournemouth)

This is the popular Russell hobbs quiet boil 20460 (sometimes I think called something like Buckingham but not sure) anyway it works, but the spring to open the lid has broken.
I have had it in the cupboard for about 6 months as was going to fix it, but not got round to it, so letting it go.
Please dont take my word for it, but it seems safe to use as it is, only issue is you will have to prise open the lid to fill it. (I don't recomend doing this after boiling it!!). But really I am listing it here in the hope that someone can take it and fix it before using!
I have the broken spring, so hopefully enought to be able to make your own (have not been able to source the spring on its own - Russell Hobbs will not sell it to me!)
