Fans x 2- charging point gone inside (Gateacre L25)

Two Fans that work ( one still has some charge but other has ran out)but the charging point has gone inside. You can open it up, two screws in base so charging port should be able to be put back in place but most likely need to be soldered in and I no longer have a soldering iron. So before I dispose of them I wonder if anyone can take them fix them and use them. They have 3 speeds and oscillate and you can adjust the height of the fan from about 7 ins above its base to nearly 3 ft so they work as both a desk and floor fans. They are two years old and take a micro usb. Debbie E
