Any fishing items (Newton-le-Willows WA12)

Am trying to get a bit of a starter fishing kit together for my son as he's spent most of his life locking himself away from the world & socially interacting and never left the house he's now decided that he'd like to start fishing with his friends on a weekend I want to try my best to keep this healthy approach of his mindset going if I can and encourage it more but having difficulty being a single mum as the stuff can be quite expensive so I'll be more than grateful If anybody at all could help a little doesn't matter how big or small anything would help Thanks you in advance
