Town carpet for car play (Harmans Water RG12)

Decent condition but is an offcut from a 'proper' carpet we've used for cars on the mat. I've no idea how to hem or whatever it's called so the edge is sealed with duct tape. The picture shows about ¼ of the rug/mat/carpet, it's just short of 2m x 2m.
