Epson Stylus DX8450 printer/scanner (SG17 (Shefford))

My printer/copier/scanner was doing fine until it began to object and not recognise the compatible ink cartridges. Eventually I gave up on it.

It's happy to scan, just complains about the ink. It hasn't been asked to work hard, so its quite 'low mileage' in relation to its age.

If you're more technically inclined, you may be able to sort it out and it could do someone a good turn.
