Red campion from seeds started in November 2025. Will have abundant pink flowers.
Loves basking in full sun and needs to stay hydrated, is very thirsty plant.
Self-seed readily at the end of its growing season.
Seedlings are currently 17cm tall and 35cm spread.
Easy maintenance. Occasionally just snip off dry, yellowing and damaged/ diseased/ infected leaves. Feed lightly during its growing/ flowering season. Check for pests (aphids) from time to time and, remove them.
Great for bees 🐝
There are 1 or 2 tradescantia rooted cuttings and some leftover ranunculus 'Aviv pastel mix' in between the red campion seedlings. Separate them, cut, prune or pull them out as you please. 😇
