Samsung TV 42” (BS4)

Samsung TV 6 Series
It has a good picture as seen on photos but unfortunately every now and again a pink smudge comes up in the middle of the screen which can be annoying as it looks like people are having a hot flush! I have tried to get a photo to show but it has not come up since I have reconnected it.
