Hi there. Does anyone have any unwanted mens bikes (large frame) sat neglected that I could fix up for a challenge. Every year we do a challenge in memory of my friend Fran who we lost to cancer. This year I'm doing a cheap bike challenge. My aim is to build a bike for next to nothing, use it for a 6 hour ride and then afterwards sell or raffle it off with every penny from it going to Longfield Hospice who cared for Fran during his final weeks.
I'm after something old and basic that I can fix up and use for this. Does anyone have anything that might be suitable? Thank you.
