Shark "Lift-away" vacuum - it works just fine, though optional rotating brush at the bottom is very noisy and might need some cleaning and/or servicing, I've never really found it necessary though.
The whole thing comes apart into multiple bits to allow using it with a handheld tip for stairs etc
