Broken table lamp base + shade upcycling project (South Croydon CR2)

Lamp base + shade, lamp no longer works, I will remove the cable before passing on, so as to avoid any possible injury. I've kept it for a few years now intending to convert it into a candle holder because it's so pretty. But have to accept if I haven't done it by now - I'm not going to! I hope someone can make use of it.
