Crochet hook size 8mm (Garston L19)

My granddaughter bought a crochet rabbit for me to teach her how to crochet. I’m not the best at crochet, but she knows nothing so I sent her off with the crochet hook from the kit and some wool to ‘practice chain stitch’!! If I do it along with her then we have a chance of having a rabbit by Easter!,
