2 Slice Toaster with issues (Magnolia Seattle 98199)

Used and partially working KitchenAid 2 Slice Manual Lift Toaster.

The toaster works, but is now completely manual as you need to hold the slide switch down, or weigh it down while toasting and monitor the toasting to determine when done then release the slide switch down.

I’m sure someone could fix the slide switch catch, but I haven’t tried.
