The bed dismantles into 4 separate parts: unfortunately the two C shaped brackets designed for easy transportation are missing, so the bed will need to be moved in 4 separate sections, each with electric motor attached: 2 bed ends and 2 part mattress base. Assembly possible without tools.

These are: 1 rise and fall (from almost floor level right up to a good height for carer giving attention. 2 tilt by raising the foot or the head. 3 head and shoulders tilt. 4 legs, lift and knee bend. All the actions are commanded by a hand held controller which can be used by a carer or hooked onto the bed so that it can be reached by the occupant.
