Laptop (Downtown Toronto)

I am applying for jobs and my laptop has died . I'm kinda stuck using just my phone. I have salvaged my HDD from my laptop by I was told it is not serviceable and it would be cheaper to just buy another one. I'm not able to afford one right now and I would be really grateful if anyone has one lying around which they're not using. Thank you for reading my post. Have a great day.
