Drawers Plus Framework For A Pickup/Van (Bamford S33)

Drawers and their framework for a pickup/van.

Taken from a 2018 single cab Ford Ranger.

Each drawer is 2.05m long x 0.46m wide. The drawer runners are 2cm thick.
The drawers and the runners are in good condition.
There are some dividers for the drawers plus the plastic fittings to fit the dividers.

The drawers were removed from the runners by grinding off the rivet heads (they were stainless so would have been a pain to drill out!). The drawers can be simply riveted or bolted back on to the runners.

The top board had to be cut in 2 down its length to get it out but it's just buffalo board (coated ply) so can be mended or replaced.

The bottom board is in 1 piece but the pronged tee fittings in it are rusty and so would need replacing.

The metal frame is in generally good condition with a bit of surface rust here and there, except the bottom corner of the fill-in on the right hand side which has some significant rust. This part is not structural so I don't think it should be a problem.

The top board was fitted to the frame with bolts that went into clinch nuts in the frame. The clinch nuts turned in the frame when I tried to remove the bolts so I had to drill the bolts out. If I were to reassemble this I would just cut off the remnants of the drilled out bolts and put self-tappers through the top board between the bolt holes to replace the bolts.

Some of the fixings are ok but most will need replacing due to rust.

The tools seen in the pics are not included! 🤣
