While tidying the garden I found the following plants which should go to a good home - these are rooted seedlings/saplings from the parent plant, or cuttings which can be very easily rooted in water.
These are almost guaranteed to 'take', given very little tlc, and include:
- White scented flowers: Jasmine (rootes, with long shoots)
- Yellow flowers : St John's Wort (hypericum)
- Blue flowers : Periwinkle, Parisian violets, Vinca
- Pink flowers : Pink geranium
- Ground cover : Wild strawberries
- Ferns : shuttlecock, grow very tall
- Fence cover : Ivy
- Trees/saplings: Cherry, lilac (mauve and white, scented), Holly
Most of those are already dug out and in water, but I might need a bit of help to dig out a few such as cherry saplings and lilac. Would suit a new garden as could all be taken in one go - ideal! Would prefer a non-rainy day! If successful, please bring list and suitable packing (eg bags for life, newspaper)
