Christmas candle arch, not working (BD18)

I have a Christmas candle arch to give away this no longer lights up, but I cannot work out why not. This was on our windowsill at Christmas for as long as I can remember, a few years ago I started to use one that was my late Mum's...... and this one refused to light ever since!! It is probably just a loose wire, although why it should be I do not know, it has always been packed away well. I do not have the patience to try fix it, if you think you might be able to re-wire / fix it, please let me know. ( you have about 8-9 month to get it working) ! Size 30cm tall, 40cm wide.
