50" Samsung Plasma TV (Nailsea BS48)

New remote and works...but...can show intermittent vertical thin pinstripe lines on screen when in use. Have been advised that this may be an issue with ribbon cables being loose or needing a clean. Rather than pay for an investigation or repair, I upgraded to smart TV. Loathe to just dump it if someone could get some life out of it. Very heavy, so you'd be advised to have assistance when unloading...
