material for rug braiding/rags (Old Ottawa South)

3 ladies t-shirts sz. M, short sleeves, NOT GOOD for wearing, some stains but NO rips, light colours, 1 black colour short sleeve t-shirt, 1 long sleeve shirt, light colour with design, also legs of 1 pair of mens PJs, all items were washed, anybody out there doing braiding and eventualy making a rug or mats from it ??
