ground cover plants and/or soil (Takoma Park)

ISO a patch of ground cover and/or extra soil

Anyone doing a spring yard project removing a chunk of ground cover plants like clover or creeping thyme? Ive got a dirt patch behind my apartment that I'd like to see if it'll sustain life with some good soil. It's only maybe 2x3 feet so figured I'd ask here before starting from seeds

Would happily come to you with a bin and pots to fill to pickup! Can easily pick up in TKPK/Silver Spring/Hyattsville/Northern DC. I also work by Eastern Market so could pickup there or along North Cap too!
