Tiller / Hoe / Cultivator (Downtown Eureka)

I need to deeply thresh a 6x6 plot in my yard because it has deep fern rhizomes in it. I won't need to repeat the process, and I don't want to buy a tool for a one-time job. Any old second-hand tool will do to help me mulch up those roots so I can use the plot.
