Black metal, I used it for my queen bed, it can be adjusted for other bed sizes. One plastic foot piece is broken (in the centre, see photo) but the frame functions well as is. Hardware is included - it’s minimal, just two screws/nuts. It is disassembled for transport. The tape at the edge is securing the plastic corner covers in place for transport.
I got a new bed frame so no longer need this one.
