Whole buncha squash (Parker Ave at Pearl, Aurora)

ATTENTION COOKS: Here is a good-sized gathering of homegrown squash of various breeds. My husband the gardener informs me that most of them are sweeter kinds, rather than overly savory. Oh, and he doesn't use pesticides, so even though they aren't "licensed" as organic, they pretty much are.

Everything you see here is available--you can have the bin too--plus there is one very large tromboncino squash that I couldn't fit into the picture. We have way more than we're going to use! Bon appetit.
