pond plants, snails etc (Ringmer BN8)

Sadly our Belfast sink pond is leaking and I won't be able to keep it topped up with rainwater as it gets warmer. There is a net of barley straw in there which I'll get rid of, I've got a fresh one if you'd like that as well.
