Pretty derelict alloy lantern as can be seen. Its only a cheap item from homebase or similar, but I was going to do a little project either to return to use with solar powered LED's or turn into a triple nesting box for sparrows etc. .ran out of time!
Before I scrap it does anyone want to take this to do something with?
Please say what you intend to do with it and when you'll collect.

Quick update ...Please bear in mind this is NOT a high quality item to start with. Not a vintage item, just vintage styled. You would need to rewire it and put new lamp holders in if plannk g to restore as a 240v item.. For the cost of the bits, you could buy a new one. Or restore a genuinely old one? Not trying to put anyone off just making sure you are aware. The base is missing a chunk one glass is cracked (those arethe easy bits) and it's been open to the elements for about 3 years so electrical fittings will be corroded. If you want detail pics or drop by for a look with no commitment feel free. Cheers warwick
